Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech taunts Tottenham ahead of Saturday's north London derby

A win for Tottenham will see them go seven points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League table and further cement their place as north London's dominant team.

Giggs added that he believes Tottenham will finish third in the Premier League this season, behind the two Manchester clubs, meaning that Spurs will finish above their bitter rivals Arsenal for the second season running.

Speaking about Spurs leading the way in North London for now, Parlour exclusively told AskFans: "It does hurt, I must admit".

"No I don't think so", he said when asked by Sky Sports whether there had been a power shift in north London over the last few seasons.

"It does hurt as it's been a long time since that happened".

Mauricio Pochettino has been handed a boost as Mousa Dembele says he is fit and raring to go ahead of Tottenham's huge trip to Arsenal this weekend.

Despite the one injury boost of Vertonghen's returning fitness, it looks like Spurs will have to do without his defensive partner in Toby Alderweireld due to the troublesome hamstring injury he picked up in the 3-1 win victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

"They have got a really good squad, an excellent manager in Pochettino and they are great to watch".

As for this weekend, Parlour is expecting a tough game for both teams and admits its a tough one to call with the pressure on.

"For us every game is important but we know there is some extra vibe the for this kind of game (v Arsenal), it's very important for us".

Most of Mauricio Pochettino's star players will have had breaks from football during the global fixtures, with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris all picking up injuries that kept them out of contention for their countries. It was usually an easy three points, but it isn't an easy three points now.
