Cavs guard Rose out at least two more weeks

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Derrick Rose will begin wearing a walking boot for the next week as he continues to recover from his sprained left ankle, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

At this moment, on the point guard position they have Jose Calderon and London Perrantes, but maybe is time for Tyronn Lue to use a small ball lineup. Rose's ankle will be immobilized in a boot for the next week, and he will undergo "an extended treatment process over the next two to three weeks", the club added.

Rose, 29, is averaging 14.3 points in 26.9 minutes per game this season.

Iman Shumpert started at point guard during Cleveland's recent road trips as the Cavs went 3-1. But he's missed the team's last four games and is set to miss even more action now.

Uh... This is really not good for the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James.

The Cavaliers take on the slumping Clippers Friday night.
