David Lee Celebrated Retirement With a Surprise Party From Fiancée Caroline Wozniacki

Lee, 34, last played for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2016-17 season. Lee made such an announcement through an Instagram post while thanking his family and friends for properly sending him off.

Lee won a championship with the Golden State Warriors in the 2014-15 season, before being traded to the Boston Celtics soon after.

Regardless of Lee's reasoning here, he's having a pretty memorable November.

"An epic night celebrating my retirement with my friends and family!"

For his career, Lee averaged 13.5 points on 53.5 percent shooting with 8.8 rebounds. "Thank you to my unbelievable fiancée @carowozniacki for planning the surprise!".

In his final season with the Spurs, Lee averaged 7.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

Lee was a former first-round pick of the Knicks back in 2005. For his National Basketball Association career as a whole, Lee averaged 13.5 points alongside 8.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.4 blocks per game.
