Enes Kanter mocks LeBron James' ejection on Twitter

Enes Kanter mocks LeBron James' ejection on Twitter

Kanter dubbed Kane Fitzgerald "King of Cleveland" at least for one night because he tossed James.

The pair nearly came to blows in a recent heated encounter between the Cavaliers and Knicks at Madison Square Garden and the Turkish center couldn't help but take to Twitter to troll the superstar.

According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, Kanter's tweet made its way around the Cavaliers locker room and LeBron reacted by shrugging, shaking his head and saying he's "always looking for attention".

The feud between James and Kanter has been going for about a month, stemming from James' perceived slight at Knicks first-round pick Frank Ntilikina while James was trying to praise Dallas rookie Dennis Smith Jr., the pick immediately after Ntilikina. James left Madison Square Garden with a 104-101 victory. "It will get the energy up", Kanter said.

They have shown significant improvement on both ends of the floor, particularly defensively which has been a huge area of weakness for the team. "I don't know what's wrong with him".

"The front office told me I can not say stuff like that", Kanter said Tuesday following practice. "What do you call yourself, King, Queen, Princess, whatever you are". "Nobody out there is going to punk us".

Kanter on Tuesday said he hadn't yet heard from the National Basketball Association about his comments, but he expected to hear from the league at some point.

"You're welcome...[King's crown emoji] of NY #myfavoriteplayground #striveforgreatness", James wrote on Instagram. Then James was shown the photo when he finished his media session.

Meanwhile, Kanter has missed three straight games and his Knicks' have lost all three by an average of 13 points per game.

The Cavs and Knicks then played a few days later, where James and Kanter had a heated face-to-face exchange mid-game.
