Few Showers Today. Nice Weekend

Ahead of a cold front, our temperatures soared today!

I have been promising that Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, and it looks like Mother Nature will delivery. Temperatures will cool down to the lower 50s. Highs will be in the upper 40s on Saturday and then pop back into the low 50s on Sunday, which is around or slightly above seasonable levels for early December. We'll be warmer by the weekend as temperatures climb into the mid 50s with more sunshine. After the Wednesday morning commute the chance for rain is quite low as the cold front quickly moves on off to the east.

Partly cloudy skies are forecast for our area Saturday and Sunday.

Another cold front will push through the area Thursday, bringing another cool down and showers into the afternoon.

If you have outdoor plans for the weekend you will be treated to some nice weather. This one will probably carry enough moisture to spawn a few showers between about 10 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday. We've seen a big increase in both temperatures and humidity in the past 24 hours. Those within the Albuquerque-metro can expect highs to warm into the low 60s. Colder air looks to arrive behind this system, which could cause some snow showers Wednesday night before wet weather ends.

Monday night... Mostly clear, with a low of about 29. Temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s overnight. As the front passes through, a northwest breeze will kick up that could make it feel a bit cooler at times.
