Samsung Galaxy X Foldable Phone Gets Official Support Page

Samsung Galaxy X Foldable Phone Gets Official Support Page

As per leaked images of Samsung patent files, Samsung Galaxy X is said to come with a fully foldable body, thanks to Samsung's proprietary hinge support. According to Korean outlet ET News, Samsung is developing new software to make face recognition on the Galaxy S9 faster than its predecessor.

Back then, the feature was denounced as being unreliable and prone to vulnerabilities, but Samsung has managed to revive it with its latest flagships by introducing a superior selfie camera and making the authentication process notably faster.

T-Mo hasn't updated its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge support pages with info on this new update yet, so the full changelog isn't known.

For some time now, we hear all kinds of rumors about the Galaxy X. In September we found the Korean certificate for model number SM-G888N0 (N0 is for the Korean market).

Samsung's pursuit of a foldable handset could lead to a fork in the industry, where most phone makers might follow one or another trend depending on their approach towards true mobility looking forward. In turn, it is expected that the Galaxy X sees a limited run and availability worldwide.

It has always been rumored that in addition to the new Exynos chipset, the Galaxy S9 will also feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. A live support page is a good sign that a launch is likely weeks away, not years or months away. So, going by this calculation, Galaxy X will be launched around the second quarter (April-June) of 2018. The media soon believed it would be at the beginning of 2018.

The leaked Samsung Galaxy S9 benchmark scores do not match up to the scores recorded by the iPhone X. However, there are other factors in determining the real-world performance of a smartphone.
