SIT files additional charge sheet against actor Dileep, others

It has been reported that out of the 35 witnesses 50 people are from the film industry.

Four other persons have also been arraigned in the charge sheet, taking the number of accused in the case to 12.

The chargesheet will be submitted at the Angamaly court and Dileep's ex-wife Manju Warrier will be one of the witnesses.

According to reports, the voluminous chargesheet runs up to 650 pages. The SIT has added few more suspects in the supplementary chargesheet, including Dileep, Meshtiri Suni, lawyers Pratheesh Chacko and Raju Joseph, and Vishnu, who was Suni's cellmate. The woman actor is believed to have been instrumental in Dileep's ex-wife Manju Warrier divorcing him.

According to the media reports, the cop, Anish, and one Vipinlal, who helped Suni to contact Dileep from the jail, have been named as accused, who turned approvers in the chargesheet. A total of 400 documents are included in the charge sheet. Police finding is that Dileep had vengeance against the attacked actress as he felt that it she who ruined his married life with Manju Warrier. It coincided with the rehearsal of "Mazhavillazhakil Amma", a mega stage show of AMMA, which had been underway at the hotel during these days.

Actor Dileep was arrested in connection with this case and was granted bail on the 3rd of October. Actor Dileep is the eighth accused.

The submission of the charge sheet comes a day after the Kerala High Court allowed Dileep to travel to Dubai for the launch of a new branch of his restaurant chain, Dhe Puttu. This led him to conspire with Pulsar Suni and give him quotation to humiliate the actress. The victim was en route to Kochi for shooting from Thrissur. The probe team will submit over 200 statements of the witnesses and around 450 documents as part of the charge sheet.

Earlier, the SIT had filed a charge sheet against seven persons, including "Pulsar" Suni, the key accused. Later Charley Thomas was released on bail.
