White House says President Trump not endorsing Roy Moore

Leigh Corfman, the first accuser to step forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, spoke about her experience Monday on "The Today Show".

National Republicans are face dwindling options to force out the party's nominee before the December 12 vote.

White House legislative director Marc Short, speaking Sunday on ABC's "This Week", said the White House is "uncomfortable" with Moore's explanations so far, but said Trump is leaving the matter up to the voters of Alabama.

That raises ethical questions about whether the Post printed Corfman's story without trusting it; whether it misled her into believing other women had made the same accusations; and whether it deliberately created an impression of Moore preying on many underage women when it had no hard evidence of that.

President Donald Trump's White House is showing no appetite to wade in and pressure Moore to exit the race or Ivey to move the election.

Conway's most recent comments came as Republicans in Congress race to push through an overhaul of the US tax code that Trump made one of his top legislative priorities.

She said although she has no reason to doubt the women who say he mistreated them sexually, she will vote for Moore. One says she was only 14 years old at the time.

Franken was accused Thursday of forcibly kissing and groping Leeann Tweeden during a 2006 United Services Organizations tour.

Franken has apologized for his behavior and said he welcomed an ethics probe into his conduct. Trump has denied these allegations.

Sanders also refused to say whether Trump was pulling his endorsement of the candidate. He initially supported appointed Republican Sen. "The people of Alabama know best what to do".

She told supporters that Trump actually "owes us a thank you" for taking the media focus off investigations of possible collaboration between his presidential campaign and Russian Federation previous year. The White House said Trump supported the RNC's decision, which came as the party absorbed polling data showing Moore trailing Democrat Doug Jones in the Republican stronghold. However, Ivey says she will vote for Moore anyway for the sake of GOP power in Congress.
