Bungie Will Address Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris' Prometheus Lens Rifle Bug

Many a Destiny 2 fan will be getting the new Curse of Osiris expansion that has released and with it the chance to get the exotic rifle Prometheus Lens.

Endgame content in Destiny focuses on raids and the Nightfall strike, as well as the more challenging "Prestige" versions of those activities.

If you want to see just how bad the Solar-based weapon treats your sweet can, in Curse of Osiris, here's a clip from iBLINKtv's Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris stream. These are more hard versions of standard Adventures with a recommended Power level of 300 and Nightfall-style Modifiers to contend with.

After just one day of Curse of Osiris in the wild, videos popped up on YouTube and complaints filled the game's Subreddit as players in the Crucible quickly realized how strong the weapon was. This will be addressed tomorrow via the weekly Bungie blog update.

Bungie's PR rep has not responded to a request for comment. As one player pointed out, "I've can't remember ever playing an MMO or game other than Destiny that literally takes things you've been doing since launch and put them behind a DLC paywall when a new expansion launches".

Here's the kicker: If you can't beat the prestige raid or prestige Nightfall, you can't get one of the game's achievements ("The Prestige"). If you're yet to collect your own, here's how to get Prometheus Lens in Destiny 2.
