Florida State to meet with OR coach WIllie Taggart

There has been plenty of speculation about the future of OR first-year coach Willie Taggart, a rumored candidate at Florida State.

The game will mark the third meeting between the teams.

It's official! The Broncos make their fourth trip to the @LasVegasBowl and will face OR on December 16 at 12:30 pm PT/1:30 pm MT!

OR (7-5) won three of its last four games, buoyed by the return of sophomore quarterback Justin Herbert from injury the last two weeks.

First, the Seminoles lost Deondre Francois in a top-five battle against Alabama to start the season.

When Herbert returned, the Ducks dominated Arizona 48-28 and then beat Oregon State 69-10 in the most lopsided Civil War game in the long history of the rivalry. Star running back Royce Freeman, meanwhile, has rushed for 1,475 yards and 16 touchdowns during his senior year.

OR has a fun offense, led by quarterback Justin Herbert.

Boise State is playing in a bowl game for the 16th straight year.

The Broncos were selected for the bowl game following their 17-14 victory over Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship Game Saturday night. The Broncos won both games - a 37-32 victory at OR in 2008, and a 19-8 win in Boise the following year.
