Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding Gets Disturbing New Trailer at The Game Awards

A new trailer for Death Stranding, the debut game from Kojima Productions, debuted during The Game Awards Thursday evening. Yep, Kojima's two favourite celebrities come together for the first time in this trailer, somewhat linking the previous trailers each of their characters received since the game's announcement back at E3 2016. Hideo Kojima's upcoming game is just as mysterious now as it has been in years past, and yet every tiny piece of content opens up the world, showing us Kojima's genius in its full glory. The plot will deal with the connection between life and death, and that it will be action-oriented. In it, we see Norman Reedus's character among a number of other character all wearing some kind of hazmat suit and being pursued by unnamed invisible creatures who seem to detect them based on sound.

It seems that Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen will play the protagonist and antagonist respectively. In fact, I'm pretty sure I know less about what Death Stranding is now than I did before watching the trailer, but then again that's pretty much par for the course with Kojima's games, isn't it? I hope that we won't have to wait until the next The Game Awards to get more info and footage of the game.
