Jimbo Fisher Introduces TAMU To Girlfriend Courtney

Jimbo Fisher made a somewhat surprising decision when he chose to leave his job at Florida State to take on a new challenge at Texas A&M, but those who are familiar with the relationship between Fisher and his former bosses saw it coming.

When speaking about working with Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward, who helped sign Fisher to a 10-year, $75 million deal, the coach seemingly referenced his past friction with Florida State officials over trying to improve facilities for the Seminoles to help the program keep pace with other ACC powers. "I think it was a no brainer in a insane way".

"I had no plans on leaving there", Fisher said. I love it. It was a tremendous place.

"You can't achieve anything without work", he said at one point in the above video.

In 's first game after Jimbo Fisher's brewing departure for Texas A&M, the Seminoles relied on their collective pride to accomplish one of their seasonal goals to maintain the program's history.

Fisher first met Woodward during their time together at LSU in 2000 where Fisher served as an offensive coordinator to Nick Saban, and Woodward was an administrator at the school.

"It was a no-brainer", Fisher said Monday morning in College Station. "There's a oneness to everything you do to be successful".

"We did some great things at LSU, and we can do them again", Fisher said to Woodward. Courtney Harrison remains the most mysterious girlfriend on the college football head coach circuit.

FSU athletics director Stan Wilcox hopes to find a new hire to replace Jimbo Fisher in a "very, very short time".

Woodward fired Kevin Sumlin after six seasons at Texas A&M, leading the Aggies to a 51-26 record during his tenure.
