Light snow will continue Thursday morning

We'll begin to see our winds slowly shift around out of the west and northwest up to 7 miles per hour, giving us wind chills in the single digits after midnight.

Expect Thursday to be cloudy and chilly with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Somehow, the neighborhood's 114th Annual Polar Bear New Year's Day Plunge seems to still be happening.

Temperatures only moderate slightly for Tuesday, with highs in the low 20s and lows in the lower teens. Yet another disturbance will cut through the Midwest Friday night into Saturday as a low is exiting the Southeast Coast of the United States. Early sunshine is diminished with clouds building through the afternoon.

Snow showers will be tapering off this evening, then skies will partially clear overnight. Accumulations are possible too. Right now, it looks to drop about an inch of snow.

Highs for Thursday will reach the teens, with a projected high of 19 degrees this afternoon for Indianapolis. Some snow flurries are possible but at this time, no measurable snow is expected.
