Prince Harry, Meghan Markle greet fans in English city

Prince Harry has spent time in Nottingham both publicly and privately since he first met young people there in 2013, when he was exploring issues around youth violence.

Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle greet well-wishers in Nottingham, England, on December 1, 2017 as they arrive for a World AIDS Day charity fair, their first public event together since announcing their engagement.

"The wedding will take place in Spring 2018". As depending on the date chosen she'll either be extremely heavily pregnant or possibly postpartum, she's never really rushed to the celeb demands of having your pre-pregnancy body in 4 weeks.

She said: "It paid off - I knew they'd be in London, doing something, and it's been about a year since they started properly dating".

Meghan didn't just talk about her objections to the advert, she actually went to the lengths of writing a letter to the company requesting they swap out the word "women" for the word "people".

'I understand given Meghan's age it's now or never, I just feel it's a bit harsh on Catherine, as in any scenario she'll not overly get to celebrate the day.

The couple announced their engagement on Monday and are due to marry at Windsor Castle in May.

One onlooker needed to know how Harry had managed to end up with someone as handsome as Meghan. I honestly thought any announcement would be with the third pregnancy in mind'.

She will also give up her work on gender equality for UN Women and take up royal charity duties instead. She'll have so much help on tap in terms of full time nannies on hand to run around after her other children, teams of people ensuring her comfort and making her travel arrangements easy and painless'.

Avid fan Irene Hardman, who is well-known for handing bags of Haribo candies to Harry, and first presented his father, the Prince of Wales, with two bags - the other for brother William - 20 years ago, was a familiar face in the crowd. OK, so I had to sit out the ceilidh dancing but so what'.

"We are delighted at the news of her and Prince Harry's engagement, and wish them all the best for this exciting period".

Everything went to plan - there were no awkward encounters, the snow that has buffeted some parts of the United Kingdom this week held off, and Markle seemed to be at ease with the flag-waving and camera-wielding residents of Nottingham who had gathered since early in the day to secure the best spots.
