The Developers Behind Firewatch Reveal Their New Game at The Game Awards

The first world premiere trailer to honor The Game Awards 2017 was a new game from Campo Santo, the developer of Firewatch.

Check out the reveal trailer for the Indy-style exploring game below, featuring a somewhat out of place soundtrack.

Our new game is In the Valley of Gods, a single-player first-person adventure set in Egypt in the 1920s. Players will take on the role of an explorer and filmmaker who is looking to uncover a "seemingly-impossible discovery and an incredible film".

Firewatch, Campo Santo's previous game, was nominated for four categories at last year's The Game Awards, including Best Narrative and Best Independent Game.

It's not planned for release until 2019. Campo Santo said that the game is expected to release on Mac, Linux and Windows PCs. It's some sort of an adventure game called In the Valley of Gods.
