This New Chappelle Joke Will Be Tough For Trump Voters to Hear

Comedian Dave Chappelle said he "feels sorry" for "poor whites" who got scammed by President Donald Trump.

In the first look released on Thursday, Chappelle reflects on Election Day, realizing it was the same day he realized the issue he has with white Americans.

We can all agree that 2017 was a lot.

"And to my surprise, you know what I didn't see?", he asks.

Dave Chappelle explains why he pities "poor white" Trump voters in his latest stand-up routine.

Chappelle said he encountered many Trump voters on Election Day of previous year: "To my surprise, you know what I didn't see?"

After releasing the first two sets in March, Chappelle is gearing up for the rollout of his third and final installment, which arrives on New Year's Eve. "I didn't see one deplorable face in that group", Chappelle says. "I saw some angry faces, and some determined faces - but they felt like decent folk". You are poor. He's fighting for me, ' " Chappelle says in the bit, earning a laugh from the audience. "I know the game now". "I listened to them say naive, poor-white-people things: "Man, Donald Trump's gonna go to Washington and he's gonna fight for us.' I'm standing there thinking in my mind, 'You dumb, motherfucker. You. Are". What better way to kick off 2018, then, than with a brand-new stand-up special from Dave Chappelle? He jokingly takes a swipe at "poor whites" who were duped into voting for Donald Trump, and brags about making enough money a year ago to rub elbows with rich Hollywood people and learn all of their secrets.

Chappelle's third Netflix special, Equanimity, is available to stream December 31.
