Ahead of Launch, Meizu M6S Specs and Features Have Been Leaked

The Meizu M6s is expected to launch today.

The latest in the long list of leaks are some images and specification shared on Weibo of the purported device that have been revealed ahead of the launch. It will be the first smartphone from the company to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio display.

The handset comes with 3GB of RAM and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of included storage, the device also comes with a 3000 mAh battery and high end cameras on the front and back. We have also learn from the past leaks that the Exynos chipset will have hexa-core processors, with two of them being Cortex-A73, clocked at 2.0 GHz for performance, and four more Cortex-A53 at 1.6 GHz for power efficiency. Black, blue, gold and silver models are on offer. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch (1440 ~CHECK~ 720 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass in-cell display. The Samsung Exynos 7872 chipset is manufactured using the 14nm FinFET LLP (low power plus) process. The chipset comes loaded with Mali-G71 MP3 GPU.

The fingerprint sensor is placed on the side of the device, effectively making it accessible to only a few number of fingers, mostly thumb or index, just like with Razer Phone. The phone is said to be the Meizu M6s which is an improved variant of the Meizu M6 which was introduced in September.

As with previous Meizu smartphones, this one will run on the Flyme OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Meizu M6s features the Super mBack or Halo button to navigate the phone.

For the camera department, the device features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and an 8-megapixel with a f/2.0 aperture front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Smartphone Meizu M6S, judging by the advertising image, also will be able to recognize a fingerprint when you touch the screen.
