Erica Garner, daughter of police chokehold victim, dies in Brooklyn

Erica Garner - social justice activist and also the daughter of Eric Garner, the man that died after police put him in a chokehold in 2014 in NY - passed away Saturday morning only days after she suffered a sudden heart attack, stated Esaw Snipes, her mother.

Garner had gone into cardiac arrest early this week, and experienced severe brain damage due to the lack of oxygen, according to a Twitter account.
