Flipkart announces Republic Day sale: Offers, key dates and more

While Amazon India had already announced its "Great Indian Sale" from January 21 to January 24, it is Flipkart, which has chose to give a run for their money (and customers) and announced "The Republic Day Sale" which is scheduled from January 21 to January 23.

Earlier this week, Amazon India announced that it will be kicking off the Great India Sale from the 21 of January with exciting deals, offers, and cashback on various product categories including smartphones. Apart from electronics, Flipkart is also offering discount on various smartphones, which include both budget and premium devices. There will also be bid-and-win contests, as well as deals offering products under Rs. 690 and minimum 69 percent off on select products to commemorate India's 69th Republic Day.

Google's latest and greatest, the Pixel 2 XL will be up for grabs at an effective price of just Rs.48,999 during the sale.

Prior to the sale, Flipkart has given a sneak peak at the offers and discounts. The 16GB On Nxt will be priced at Rs. 9,999 which is priced originally at Rs. 10,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Plus, Moto G5 Plus will be available at Rs. 10,999, Rs. 8,999, Rs. 10,999 respectively.

Honor 9 Lite will be launched as part of the sale. Flipkart says "stay tuned for more" deals on premium phones, so we more high-end smartphones may be added to the list in the next few days. The Flipkart sale will be available Infinix Note 4 will be available at Rs 7,999 (MRP at Rs 8,999) and Panasonic Eluga A3 at Rs 6,499 (MRP 11,499), iVoomii1 and iVoomi 11s will be available at discounted prices. Starting with the Apple MacBook Air first, it will be available at a discounted price in the sale from the original price of Rs. 56,990.

Customers buying e-readers or the will receive a discount of up to Rs. 2,500. The offers are also available on the Men and Women cloth of various brands. Flipkart will also offer discounts on DSLRs, iPads, Ambrane power banks, printers, fitness trackers, hard disks, speakers & earphones, and other accessories.

Amazon Great Indian sale is back again on the eve of Republic day 2018. Citibank credit and debit cards users will get additional 10 percent cashback on the sale, the minimum purchase amount and maximum cashback have not yet revealed.
