Grassley: Hope Trump doesn't call me about Russian Federation probe

The aways unpredictable, often defiant Donald Trump, who says he has "nothing to hide" about his campaign's contact with Russian Federation before the 2016 presidential election, refused to say Wednesday if he will agree to TO meet with special prosecutor in an interview under oath to discuss his involvement.

Over the past year, Donald Trump has had an up and down relationship with various world leaders.

"The innuendo and misinformation circulating about the transcript are part of a deeply troubling effort to undermine the investigation into potential collusion and obstruction of justice", Feinstein said.

Trump's latest sharp remarks on the Russian Federation probe comes after reports emerged that Mueller's probe will likely request an interview with Trump.

He suggested Mueller should be focusing on Democrats.

Utah Republican Rep. Chris Stewart, who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, said in an interview on CNN's "Newsroom" that he did not agree with Trump that the investigation is a "witch hunt", but that he understands "what the President is feeling" due to the severity of allegations against him and his associates.

Others slammed the president for labeling the investigation a "witch hunt" yet again. "Must have tough Primary!" he wrote on Twitter.

Smith further criticized Trump tweets for refocusing attention on the Russian Federation investigation, a story his guest speculated Trump didn't want to receive attention.

The material wasn't classified, and Feinstein said she didn't do anything illegal.

At a news conference earlier Wednesday, Trump repeated his claims that there was "no collusion" between his campaign and Russian Federation.

Trump has been threatening to change the libel laws since before the election.

In a tweet on Wednesday (10 January), Trump urged Republicans to "finally take control" of the investigation.

The President made no mention of "Fire and Fury", a new book that takes a critical look at his administration, but said people shouldn't be able to say false things and then "smile as money pours into your bank account".

He also took to Twitter to bemoan "how broken and unfair our Court System is" after a federal judge temporarily blocked his plan to end protections for undocumented immigrants who entered the USA illegally as children.
