James Franco attends SAG awards 2018 after sexual harassment allegations

Alison Brie has addressed the allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against her brother-in-law James Franco, saying "not everything that's been reported is fully accurate".

The Glow actress stars alongside Franco in The Disaster Artist, as well as her husband, Dave Franco.

When asked, in the spirit of transparency, about the allegations against Franco, Brie said, "I think that, above all, what we've always said is it remains vital that anyone that feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward".

Actor James Franco attends the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 21, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. This, after the 39-year-old bowed out of an appearance at the Critics' Choice Awards last week despite winning another acting prize. "But, of course, now is a time for listening". "Why is a man hosting?"

After the Golden Globes blackout in support to the hundreds of women who have come forward with stories of sexual misconduct in Hollywood, stars went for bright colors at the Shrine Exposition Center. Franco wearing the pin led Ally Sheedy - who had worked with him on a 2014 play - to tweet, "James Franco just won".

Three days after the Globes, Franco appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and denied the claims.

"The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate".

James' attorney Michael Plonsker disputed all of the women's allegations and directed The Times to the actor's comments earlier this week, when he said he "completely supports people coming out and being able to have a voice" and promised to "fix" anything he had "done wrong". Johansson seethed. "I want my pin back, by the way".
