Lonzo Ball is questionable for Monday's game against Memphis

In early January Ball returned from a six-game absence due to an injured shoulder, and now the Lakers have announced that Ball will undergo an MRI after feeling some soreness in his left knee.

The Lakers could play it safe, though, so there's a chance Tyler Ennis and Josh Hart will assume more minutes if Ball sits out Monday's game.

An update with the MRI results was posted on the Lakers' official Twitter account, potentially keeping Ball from playing the game tomorrow. LaVar Ball has poked and prodded, giving his vote of no confidence in Luke Walton several times.

Ball, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 National Basketball Association draft, is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists this season. Since his return, the Lakers have gone 4-1 with the wins all coming in a row.

On the plus side, the 20-year-old has filled up the stat sheet this year, averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists. During that five-game stretch, he didn't attempt a single free-throw.

Ball initially suffered the setback during L.A.'s overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
