With a solid date having been put in place for the highly anticipated indie platformer titles Fe and Celeste, Nintendo his continually shown their dedication to games both big and large by forging solid windows of communication with indie game developers. Another platformer, Matt Makes Games' Celeste, will let you climb risky mountains on February 27.

Other announcements included confirmation that Payday 2 was coming to Switch on February 27th, and free DLC for Super Mario Odyssey launching in February. So, get ready to punish some angels and demons with melee attacks and gunplay. As of this writing, there's still no confirmation on how many players can join the matches. It'll be smashing down with split screen multiplayer in Spring 2018. So when the Switch - which looked like a potential disaster in the making - launched relatively smoothly with an exciting lineup of games, the community was taken aback. So far, the details revealed indicate that the story mode will be fun. The Switch version will be out later this year and feature reworked touch controls and the option to play with the Joy-Cons, as well as a whole new scenario to play through. Don't let the adorable 2D graphics fool you, this is still a violent little romp through the world of incarceration.
