Nintendo is revealing a "new interactive experience" for Switch today

Nintendo is revealing a

Today, Limited Run Games announced that Saturday Morning RPG would also be their first title on Nintendo Switch, a fact that's fairly surprising considering Saturday Morning RPG hadn't been announced for Switch yet!

Details on what this experience will actually involve are non-existent right now but according to Nintendo it's been "specially crafted for kids and those who are kids at heart".

There's no word for a Western announcement of the reveal, but unless it's something Nintendo has planned only for Japan we should hear something from Nintendo of America/Europe later in the morning.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima recently emphasised how important growing the Switch's audience was for the console's second year - and, crucially, that the console now needed to attract an audience who were not already core gamers.

It's hard to tell what this reveal might be, or if it will be a game at all.

It's possible Nintendo could announce a brand new Switch Mini, or maybe a toys to life experience featuring Amiibo figurines.

A virtual reality headset was our immediate thought, and we know it's something that Nintendo has been looking into given past patent applications. "Consumers are not patient with entertainment if you're not able to deliver an all-inclusive package".

So yes, more games from the company's PlayStation-side catalog will make the switch, but there are also new games in the works, thanks to its development team, Mighty Rabbit Studios. The reveal takes place at 10pm United Kingdom today, which is 2pm PT, 5pm ET.
