Presidency: Trump Says He Would Beat Oprah Winfrey… But She Won't Run

"I did not think they would be talking about it in presidential terms", King said on CBS This Morning of Oprah's speech, as People notes. She had Donald Trump, this was before politics, her last week.

"Americans" message to Oprah is, "We like you, we would vote for you over Trump, but we don't want you to run, '" said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.

While many appeared to support the possibility of Oprah running for president, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane shared his thoughts on Twitter, according to Fox News.

Seal late Wednesday used his Instagram account to blast Oprah Winfrey over her ties to disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. This may mean that Trump has to watch his back. Overlaid on the image, meme style, are the words: "When you have been part of the problem for decades but suddenly they all think you are the solution". Do not cut, copy or lift any content from this website without our consent. "For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men..."

ET spoke to Oprah's BFF, Gayle King, on Tuesday, when she talked about the 63-year-old's media mogul's electrifying speech at the 2018 Golden Globes on Sunday.

"I don't think at this point she is actually considering it".

The White House also said that Trump would "welcome the challenge" to run against Winfrey. She took us down memory lane when she started her speech by telling us about the time she was watching the 36th Academy Awards with her mother, when Sidney Poitier - a black man, was awarded the best actor award in 1964.

Asked whether Winfrey was qualified, Sanders said, "Look, I disagree very much on her policies", although Winfrey has no voting record. Her speech touched on her upbringing, being raised by a single mother, growing up disenfranchised and how her platform has given her more of a voice.

Winfrey promised that a "new day was on the horizon" for women as a result of the #MeToo movement and that gender equality would be reached. Because you know what she stands for?
