The World Ends With You Returning On Switch

"The World Ends With You Final Remix" is one of the several titles that will be released for Nintendo Switch this year.

The NPD Group has not yet released the sales data of December in North America but Aaron Greenberg wanted to anticipate the research company by revealing that Xbox One sold more than PlayStation 4 in the U.S. over the past month. It will be available in one of the two paid DLC packs.

The first set will include Aegislash as a playable character and Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyuu as support characters.

That's according to Windows Central, which suggests players will be rewarded with cosmetic Avatar items by opening loot crates.

New copy abilities and gameplay footage were shown for Kirby Star Allies, including Artist and Spider. For example, mixing a water and ice ability will allow you to shoot icicle spears. One example given is ice and water to create ice lances.

Kirby Star Allies - What's better than Nintendo's cute puff of pink fluff? This will bring all of the content including DLC from both the WiiU and Nintendo 3DS version into one package.

"Hyrule Warriors" is a spin-off based on "The Legend of Zelda". Hyrule Warriors Deluxe Edition will release in Spring 2018. The story mode will have players traveling across the Mushroom Kingdom participating in matches, minigames, and boss battles. This game will be releasing this Spring. Take note: Luigi's Balloon World won't be available until after the main story in the game has been finished, so make sure to complete the story mode first. If you didn't pick up Ys VIII on PlayStation 4 in 2016, look for it this summer on Switch.

Players will be able to continue Mario's epic new world's adventure after the end of Super Mario Odyssey with the help if Luigi. Not to mention it's the first time you can play a Dark Souls video game anywhere you want! As a reward, you can move up in rankings. The DLC pack will release in Spring.

The fan service focused brawler, SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy from NIS will be an all-female character game.

Nintendo will also add three new outfits to the game: Sunshine Shades, a Musician Hat, and Knight Armor. The character will also be joining Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, with the trailer showing DK pulling off a fastball special and tossing Rabbid Peach into the stratosphere in his big monkey arms. Nintendo's monkey will be able to use a boomerang banana to bash baddies. It is unknown if there will be a Rabbid DK to accompany him. They will also have their own set of weapons and hacker skills. It arrives February 27. Still, if Nintendo doesn't mind having old Zelda and new Zelda coexist on the same platform, I'm not going to turn down the opportunity to play through Wind Waker again. The platformer Celeste will release on January 25, and another platformer, Fe, will launch on February 16. Both games originally came out for the Nintendo Wii U back in 2014. The simian Funky Kong can double jump, hover, perform infinite rolls and even infinite underwater corkscrews. This game will be available May 4th.

As part of the Nintendo Direct-mini, the "online home for exclusive news" as the Japanese developer describes it, Nintendo announced the latest installment of the popular Mario Tennis series aptly named Mario Tennis Aces for the Nintendo Switch. We're also quite thrilled to see Nintendo return to Mario Tennis so quickly after 2015's Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash was met with an overwhelmingly negative reaction.

After all the rumours and tweets, finally the dust has settled and what we thought were rumours came out to be the truth as on 10th January, the Nintendo Direct Mini went live. Anything you were hoping to see but didn't?
