Watch Bill Murray steal the show as Steve Bannon on 'SNL'

She is a long-term aide of the President and is the third person to take the top communications role in his administration after the disastrous appointments of Anthony Scaramucci and Sean Spicer before him.

"Saturday Night Live" returned to the airwaves for the first time in 2018 with a brutal parody of NBC's "Morning Joe" that pitted Bill Murray's Steve Bannon against the man responsible for his firing, "Fire and Fury" author Michael Wolff, played by veteran cast member Fred Armisen.

In the book, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon accuses President Trump's eldest son, son-in-law and former campaign chairman of "treasonous" behavior for meeting with Russians during the campaign.

In the new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, author Michael Wolff wrote that after the campaign, "baffling to nearly everyone, Hicks remained his closest and most trusted aide, with, perhaps, the single most important job in the White House: interpreting the media for him in the most positive way it could be interpreted, and buffering him from the media that could not be positively spun".

"So much Fake News is being reported".

We know from Wolff that Trump is also capable of "rages". Bannon apologized a few days later, but was stripped of his job leading the pro-Trump news site Breitbart News.

Hope worked for Ivanka Trump before replacing Anthony Scaramucci as communications director last August.

The book also gives insight into Hicks' family and friends concerns and how the evolved during the campaign.

Wolff added that Hicks "was in fact thought of as Trump's real daughter, while Ivanka was thought of as his real wife". "Thank you, good reporting".

Later in the week, the panel will hear from former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Michael Wolffe's bestseller highlights information about the chaotic interactions and happenings in the White House.

More recently, Bannon has said he was not referring to Trump Jr. but rather to Manafort. You've already done enough for him.
