Lonzo Ball On College Basketball Investigation: "Everybody's Getting Paid"

Lonzo Ball On College Basketball Investigation:

The Lakers rookie, returning to the court Friday night against the Mavericks after missing 15 games with an MCL sprain, backed up his argument with the "one-and-done" trend that has become expected of National Basketball Association prospects, like him, who simply need to fulfill the NBA's one-year college requirement.

Lonzo Ball will return from his injury Saturday (AEDT) when the Lakers take on the Mavericks.

The Lakers initially struggled without Ball on the court but turned a 0-6 record without him into an 8-13 record. Ball was asked about the topic today following a Yahoo Sports report that outlined several top programs and players who named in the FBI's investigation into corruption of college hoops. It remains to be seen how Isaiah Thomas' role will be impacted. So I think we're going to work well... Adding Ball to the mix could help them get out of that funk. Despite all of the headaches that are caused by his father, LaVar, Ball has been very productive and has had a direct impact on the Los Angeles Lakers in year one.
