Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis to play aunts on 'Sabrina' reboot

Over the last few weeks, casting details about the new "Sabrina The Teenage Witch" reboot have been trickling in from Hollywood and now, the series has found its Hilda and Zelda!

Australian actress Miranda Otto is now confirmed to play Zelda in the new Netflix series The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina and her sister Hilda, will be played by British actress Lucy Davis.

According to Variety, Otto's Zelda will be "proud and devout" and "believes there is no greater honor than serving the Dark Lord as a member of the Church of Night".

The character of Sabrina has been the focus of discussion since Riverdale's inception, when Aguirre-Sacasa indicated a strong desire to see the teenage witch show up in town and then ultimately lead her own series.

Doctor Who favorite Michelle Gomez and newcomer Chance Perdomo joined the cast last week as Sabrina's teacher and cousin respectively.

The Sabrina show is a drama set as a dark coming-of-age story that will deal with horror and the occult. It is described as in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, and finds Sabrina Spellman (Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka) wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.

This reboot was originally supposed to air on The CW as a spinoff of Riverdale before Netflix stepped in and offered the show a two-season pickup.

With the additions of Otto and Davis as Aunts Zelda and Hilda, the main roles for the series are all now pretty much full. Her past credits also include War of the Worlds, I, Frankenstein, Locke & Key and more. Lee Toland Krieger will direct and executive produce with Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Jon Goldwater.
