Brazil boss Tite won't take Neymar risks despite World Cup pressure

However, The Brazil boss chose to call up two more players than usual on Monday as he hopes to get a final look at some who are on the fringes of the team, with Besiktas attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose, Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and Valencia goalkeeper Neto set to get their chance to impress.

He acknowledged that the 25-man list does not include several players who may be part of the final roster for the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation.

Rio de Janeiro: Brazilian coach Tite on Monday made the best of injured star Neymar's forced absence by bringing new names into the national squad for friendlies against Russian Federation and Germany.

This month's friendlies are to be the last tune-up games before the competition begins in June.

Tite took the unusual step last month of revealing 15 players who are guaranteed a place in his World Cup squad for this summer's tournament in Russian Federation.

Even as the national coach Tite named a few newcomers in the squad, he will want his mainstays in Philippe Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Roberto Firmino, Willian, Casemiro and Marcelo to show their metal.

However, full-back Sandro was overlooked for this month's matches against World Cup hosts Russian Federation and reigning champions Germany, which Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar will miss as he recovers from a broken foot.

It will be the Brazilians' first meeting with Germany since their 7-1 loss in the semi-finals of the World Cup on home soil.

Also making his debut for Brazil will be Anderson Talisca, who plays as a professional for Turkish club Besiktas.
