In a meeting with his secretaries at the top office on Monday, Moon hoped that the PyeongChang Paralympics will serve as another opportunity to significantly enhance South Koreans' perceptions of the disabled just as the Seoul Paralympics did 30 years ago. With the 17 goals, Canada has now scored 991 since Hockey Canada took over the sledge hockey program in 2004. Italy beat Norway 3-2 in the penalty shootout in a nerve-racking opening game.

Canada will be in tough against an undefeated Chinese squad (5-0) but have a chance to right the ship against a struggling American team (1-4).
