Clouds And Some Rain To Start Off The Week

Highs by this afternoon/evening will reach into the mid to upper 50s making for a lovely mild day.

West Michigan will have a partly cloudy sky to start the day on Monday, but cloud cover will increase late in the day ahead of an approaching system. This should allow for some breaks in the clouds by Tuesday afternoon, with highs in the 60s. Tonight skies will clear up and bring temperatures in the low to mid 20's. Showers will start up around 5 p.m. and continue through the overnight hours.

The second half of the workweek to next weekend is so far looking pretty good with mostly sunny skies and temperatures slowly warming up again to the lower to middle 50s. Those showers will last into Sunday morning, then we will cool a bit Sunday afternoon with a high of 55.

Get out and enjoy the weather today because this week will bring rain, possible snow, and a big temperatures swing. Highs on Wednesday in the lower 40s while Thursday looks to be the coldest day of the week. By Wednesday morning we could be dealing with a wintry mix and snow for your morning commutes. The coldest mornings will be on Thursday and Friday, with lows at or just below the 32º mark.

I don't see we'll see any accumulation because the ground has been super warm, but we'll keep you posted on that.
