Here's when you can play Skyrim VR on PC

Whether you're a longtime fan or taking on the horned mantle of the Dragonborn for the first time, Skyrim VR for SteamVR promises an epic journey in virtual reality across a massive world for you to explore any way you choose.

Skyrim VR, which originally launched on PSVR late a year ago, sees Bethesda's classic open-world fantasy epic rejigged and reworked for virtual reality headsets.

As you can imagine, Skyrim VR brings you through the world of the Elder Scrolls game with VR controls as you face off against dragons and a smattering of other odd enemies and navigate the landscape in a first-person mode. The game will include the full content from the original Skyrim game that was released back in 2011.

Skyrim VR will be made available on Steam for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality, and is listed with a release date of 3rd April, 2018. If VR isn't so much your thing, however, you can play Skyrim just about everywhere, including the Nintendo Switch.

As someone who owns an HTC Vive (and is eyeing the new Vive Pro with fascination) I can say that VR is an absolute blast especially in a more social setting.
