Community Lutheran also will have Easter egg coloring at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Good Friday, solemn service culminating in candlelit Communion, 7 p.m. 14, one mile east of Hwy. The Easter service will be at 7 and 10 a.m. The Easter worship service will be at 10 a.m., and the bell choir will perform "Crown Him with Many Crowns".

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located at 900 Normal Road in DeKalb. Look for the red doors.

Cedartown First UMC's sunrise service is being held Peek Park at 7 a.m., and the church's annual Easter celebration during their 11 a.m. service at the church. Easter Service with Holy Communion will be at 10:45 a.m.

Hilltop Chapel is at Esquagamah Lake, 49448 Osprey Ave. There will be no Sunday school on Easter but nursery is available from 8:30 12:30 p.m. and services will be streamed in the parish hall where little ones have room to roam about and toys to play with.

On Sunday, an Easter vigil will be conducted at 6 a.m.

This is an interactive prayer walk featuring church and community artists. Easter Sunday service will be at 10:30 a.m., with coffee and light brunch before worship. Easter morning service will be at 10:30 a.m. On Good Friday FBC will host a block party at Summers Field from 6:30-9:30 p.m. with games, food and an outdoor movie. An Easter egg hunt for preschool and elementary age children follows the worship service at Bethesda. Brooks Christian Church is located at 969 Ga. A Tenebrae Service at 8 p.m. that evening will be at Christ Our Shepherd.

Maundy Thursday service, 7 p.m. An Easter Day program will be held at Unionville United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Glenn B. Allen Sr. leads at services at 182 Glynn St.

On Holy Saturday, blessing of food/Easter baskets will be at 1 St. Hyacinth, and Easter Vigil Mass will be at 8 Queen of the Holy Rosary Shrine, Fourth and Gooding streets. Traditional Easter services will be held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

For the celebration of Maundy Thursday, several churches have services and events planned including Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church, who is hosting a live re-enactment of The Last Supper of Jesus and his 12 disciples starting in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. It is a time to reflect and remember the final week of the Lord, Jesus Christ's life, beginning with His entry into Jerusalem and ending with His resurrection.

Our Savior's Lutheran invites all to join at any of the special and normal services as the church remembers the Lord's passion, suffering, death and rising from the dead.
