Honor 7X Now Offers Face Unlock Feature

The Honor 7C 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage variant is available for 899 Yuan, while the 4GB and 64GB Storage variant is available for 1299 Yuan.

The "Face Unlock" feature will be available via HOTA (Huawei's Over the air update) and will be completed by mid-March 2018, the company said in a statement. It powers with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Soc, which is clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone comes in 3GB RAM with 32GB of soragge and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage models.

As of now, the Honor 7C is only limited to the Chinese market.

Huawei's sub-brand Honor has today launched the Honor 7C in China.

It has a dual camera setup with 13 megapixels primary sensor and 2 megapixels secondary sensor. In its front lies an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Huawei's subsidiary, Honor just launched another smartphone and it will definitely have its fans. While the Honor 9 Lite came with glass back body, the upcoming Honor 7C features a metal unibody design. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels at a PPI of 268 pixels per inch. Under the hood, we might mostly see the 16nm Kirin 659 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. Both the devices come with an expansion option to expand the memory storage of the device by using an external microSD card. In the camera department, the device sports 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The smartphone comes with a 3,000mAh battery that doesn't seem to support fast charging. It measures 158.30 x 76.70 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 164.00 grams. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0 at the top of it.

It will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold color options. The device also features Fingerprint Scanner onboard which is located at the back panel of the device. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
