How to Watch Serena vs. Venus Williams

In between giving birth, getting married, fielding the odd set of billboards dedicated to her greatness, and her regular schedule as one of the greatest athletes of all time, Williams just staked her claim in the beauty world. It's against this opponent that Serena grew up.

"She's had such a good year last year and playing fantastic tennis", Serena said of her sister. "So it is what it is". There have been so many days, even still, that I'm like "how am I going to keep going"?

The match is scheduled to start around 10 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel.

But Serena says she did not watch a single point on the grounds she gets too nervous.

Collins, ranked 116th and making her first appearance in the main draw, is just starting her second year on the WTA Tour.

Asked about the semi-final match that never happened, Serena said she has tried to forget.

According to TMZ, Williams a filed legal documents to trademark "Aneres" (Serena spelled backwards-in case you didn't notice) for another fashion line. "First of all, 17 years ago seems like forever ago".

Serena, unseeded in the wake of her long layoff, admitted she would have preferred not to come up against her sister so soon in the draw.

"It's a huge difference to play her in the semi-finals or even the quarter-finals or a final as opposed to the third round". "We can always stay in the tournament longer if the both of us are in the tournament". Venus enjoyed a resurgent 2017 season, but she began this year with losses to Angelique Kerber in Syndey and Belinda Bencic at the Australian Open.

"I still have a lot to give".

Talking about competing in the upcoming Grand Slams tournament, Serena was quoted as saying, "If I want to play in those grand slams and play well then now is the ideal time to start". She won four of the final five games of the second set, breaking Cirstea three times to close it out.

Serena and Venus have faced each other 28 times in professional tournaments, the most recent being the aforementioned Australian Open final in 2017.

"She looked like she never lost a step", Venus said of her younger sister.

Serena made a decision to return in 2015, whilst Venus came back to Indian Wells in 2016.
