Man United players angered by Jose Mourinho's

The 22-year-old was taken off at half-time of United's 2-0 FA Cup win over Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Mourinho criticising Shaw after the quarter-final.

British media, Sportsmail, understands that Shaw's managers are aware of interest from Chelsea, before United snapped him for £31m.

England visit the Netherlands on Friday and host Italy on Tuesday in their build-up to the World Cup in Russian Federation in June.

"Obviously, he [Shaw] is a player that wants to do well, I want to see him doing well", he told Radio 5 Live.

He has made 12 starts this term and was described as one of the best in the world in his position earlier in the year. You've just got to work hard.

"We know as players we go out onto the training pitch and work hard, but when you can, he has a laugh and joke, so he's got both sides to him and that's the best way for a manager to be".

The Daily Mail says Saints warned United about Shaw's liking for fast food and fizzy drinks.

"But if you play and train and give 100%, then get your opportunity - I've always said you always get your opportunity there".

Young, 32, has been one of Jose Mourinho's stand-out players this season and was named in Gareth Southgate's squad last week to face Holland and Italy in pre-World Cup friendlies.
