Microsoft Plans "Biggest E3 Showing Ever"

Microsoft Plans

Microsoft is planning to launch its new Xbox Live Avatars next month.

Xbox's Mike Ybarra debunked news that the new Xbox avatars would release in April by saying that the feature would ship whenever it was ready.

YouTuber Rand al Thor posted an image of Ybarra's new and improved Avatar on Twitter. Microsoft missed that target, but sources familiar with the company's Xbox plans tell The Verge that it will preview the new avatars to Xbox Insiders this month.

Announced past year at E3, Microsoft's redesigned Xbox avatars are now finally just a month from launch. As expected, this conference will also take place at the Microsoft Theater.

The new booth will be dedicated to Mixer, where fans will be able to play new games and catch up with the news from E3.

To do this they will be expanding outside of the usual confines of the LA Convention Center and situating all of their E3 activities within the nearby Microsoft Theater.

"Not only does the Microsoft Theater allow us to centralise our Xbox presence at E3, but it's size enables us to include even more fans and partners in the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing than ever before".

Microsoft has announced a number of venue changes for E3 2018 as it gears up for what it's trumpeting as the company's 'biggest showing ever'. It is here that Microsoft will hold their annual Xbox Briefing, which will take place on June 10 at 1pm PT, various Xbox FanFest activities, hands-on gameplay demos for all E3 attendees, and more.

Xbox is without a doubt one of the most powerful consoles available in the market so they need to bring new exclusive games to make use of their powerful hardware.
