Reggie Bush says he would pick Josh Rosen over Sam Darnold

The Giants are continuing their homework on quarterbacks, attending USC's Pro Day to scout Sam Darnold on Wednesday.

After seeing Darnold, the Jets contingent will go to Wyoming for Josh Allen's Pro Day on Friday and then to Norman, Okla., for a private workout with Baker Mayfield on Saturday. Darnold is thought to be the QB jewel of the draft and had not thrown at the Combine, choosing instead to unleash his arm in the comforts of his home. The Browns and Giants own the No. 1 and No. 2 picks, respectively, in the draft on April 26 in Dallas.

"I met with him yesterday", Darnold said on NFL Network about Haslam. "I think they have potential to be a really good team in the future". I know some guys were looking at that. "Being aware of all those (technical skills), coming out and ripping it".

Darnold is far from a flawless prospect, but he has a live arm, the kind of poise and leadership teams covet in the National Football League, and has a knack for coming up big in moments when his team needs him the most.

While there is no clear consensus, many have Darnold leading the pack. "I have been training really hard for this day".

The former USC Heisman Trophy victor said that he believes Rosen is better than Darnold.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Darnold threw 57 touchdowns and 22 interceptions while completing 64.9 percent of his passes in 27 games as the Trojans' starting quarterback. But if Darnold was on top of their board before Wednesday, nothing that happened at the pro day workout should change that. "This is icing on the cake".
