Super Smash Bros. Series Creator Masahiro Sakurai Working on Switch Game

Two of the biggest questions now surrounding Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch are who are the fighters in its roster and whether it will be a port or an entirely new game. "Super Smash Bros." is coming back.

Super Smash Bros Nintendo Switch was one of the biggest announcements during the Nintendo Direct yesterday.

During a Nintendo Direct online broadcast on 8 March, the company screened a teaser for the brawler, which pits various well-known and obscure Nintendo characters against each other in a free-for-all.

It may be assumed that the Inklings of Splatoon 2 will join the battle, and Mario and Link will be there too from their appearances in the trailer.

Players managed to make out some of them like Donkey Kong and Bowser but the rest is a bit hard to figure out. "Please look forward to new information and when the title goes on sale!"

Until then, speculation will be rampant and theories will be thriving in the Smash community.

Nintendo also revealed a slate of other games for the Switch that are set to debut this year, including a "Captain Toad" puzzle game on July 13, The Verge reported. Soon, Super Smash Brothers's working title will be a thing of the past.

As of now, it has not been confirmed whether the game will be a brand-new version or a port of the Super Smash Bros.
