I'm not impressed by Anthony Joshua's victory, says Mike Tyson

Joshua had spoken about his preference in an event at York Hall, where he was taking part in an attempt to set a world record for the most people boxing at one time.

Everyone is talking about a potential heavyweight megafight between Deontay Wilder, who hails from and trains in Tuscaloosa, and England's Anthony Joshua.

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has revealed that he was not impressed with Anthony Joshua in his latest fight against Joseph Parker, according to a report on the World Boxing News.

"I want that fight, no doubt about it". 'I don't know about Wilder and how serious he is.

The British fighter now holds four of the five major heavyweight belts, with the last one currently being held by Wilder.

"I would be over the moon with a deal like that, so it will be interesting to see how he takes it".

The first contest would take place at Wembley in London and Principality Stadium in Cardiff - and Wilder would have the option, should he win, to stage the rematch in the United States or the UK.

The contract was sent over with a deadline of 48 hours to accept the offer - or Joshua will likely make a mandatory defense against Alexander Povetkin of Russian Federation.

When asked about facing the Russian, Joshua said: "I'm not really interested in Povetkin, I'm interested in Wilder".

Lennox Lewis was the last undisputed heavyweight champion, holding the WBC, WBA and IBF belts at the turn of the century.

The Russian, whose only defeat in a 35-fight professional career came against Wladimir Klitschko in October 2013, demonstrated his punching power with a brutal knockout of Britain's David Price on the Joshua-Parker undercard.

The 29-year-old said: "They're (Joshua and Parker) a pair of wooden tops, a pair of bums".

"But I think he can just punch".
