Imran Khan's third marriage hangs in the balance, reports Pakistan media

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is celebrating its 22 Foundation Day today; PTI Chief Imran Khan congratulated the party workers for working this hard for PTI and its Ideals. An Urdu newspaper reports that Mr Khan's third wife Bushra Maneka - also his spiritual guide - moved out of their home in Islamabad almost a month ago. According to local media reports, Ms Maneka considered the presence of the dogs an "interruption in her religious activities".

Pakistani journalist Omar Quraishi was the only one to shut down the rumours on social media, tweeting: "Am told by a source close to the parties concerned that the report about Bushra Maneka leaving Imran Khan's home and going to her mother's home because of a dispute is incorrect and without any basis".

However, when Bushra's son overstayed at Imran's place and the couple had an argument on this, she left for her ancestral town named Pakpatan district which is almost 250km from Lahore.

Quoting the Urdu daily, a report in the Times of Islamabad said that Maneka was in her maternal home from over a month and the reason behind the feud between the recently married couple was the overdue presence of Maneka's son at Bani Gala residence of PTI chief. His first marriage was with Jemima Goldsmith, daughter of a British billionaire, in 1995, which lasted nine years. Pakpatan district is known for the shrine of Baba Farid Ganj Shakar and Imran Khan had reportedly started meeting Bushra in early 2017 to seek spiritual advice. Another development that triggered reportedly Bushra's walkout was that Imran's sisters, who also stayed at the Bani Gala residence, were actively involved in the ongoing renovation of the place and that didn't go down too well with Bushra.

Imran's previous two marriages had ended in divorce. Imran has two sons from her.

Bushra, a resident of Pakpatan district about 250 km from Lahore, is in her late 40s and has five children from her first marriage.
