LG will unveil the G7 ThinQ flagship on May 2

As speculated, LG G7 ThinQ will be the first G-series smartphone to adopt the ThinQ brand name.

"Since smart phones have focused on filling new functions and more functions so far, it is time for us to find solutions to how convenient customers actually use them", said Ha Jeong-wook, managing director of LG Electronics' in the press release.

The key highlight of the yet to be launched flagship phone by LG will be the iPhone X-like notch. The leaked image also confirms the iPhone X like notch at the top of display along with an edge-to-edge design.

Korean tech company LG has now officially confirmed that its next flagship G7 Thinq will launch in May. The device will feature a vertically-aligned dual-lens rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, a laser autofocus system, and a circular fingerprint sensor below it.

One of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer electronics and home appliances LG has introduced a wide audience, your new mobile phone G7. Many expected this to be the follow-up to the V30, although a V35 was then announced in Japan as a variant of the LG V30. Power consumption won't be affected however, as the G7 ThinQ will use LG's M+ technology which features in the company's TVs.

The Software Upgrade Center will not only be charged with developing and delivering regular OS updates for LG smartphones, it will also be responsible for ensuring a consistent user experience on LG devices by continuously testing the stability and compatibility between hardware and software after updates.

LG will also improve the audio capabilities of the G7 ThinQ with a Boombox Speaker. The secondary camera will feature a 107-degree field-of-view, while the primary camera will include a glass lens with an f/1.6 aperture. LG Q7's price and specifications are still unknown.
