Manchester United's Paul Pogba speaks about move amid Jose Mourinho feud

Jose Mourinho has suggested that it is up to Paul Pogba to explain why he has been so inconsistent for Manchester United this season.

But the 25-year-old has told Telefoot he has no issue with Mourinho.

"It's true [being benched] has never happened to me, but it can strengthen me".

"There is no problem with Jose Mourinho". We deserve to finish second in spite of what you can say, the criticism you make.

Pogba, signed for a club-record fee of £89 million ($125 million, 101 million euros) from Juventus in 2016, has endured a hard time since his return from injury in November, amid claims - dismissed as "lies" by Mourinho in February - that he had fallen out with the United boss. It's not me who picks the team.

That was just the latest issue between Mourinho and Shaw, with reports suggesting the England global will leave Old Trafford this summer.

"We know we're not going to have Michael Carrick after this season so we need to add more midfielders to the team and I think Scott is really ready to play in the Premier League and help the team".

Pogba, while on worldwide duty with France, spoke of his desire to play alongside PSG and Brazil forward Neymar - sparking talk of an exit from Manchester.

After finishing as runners-up to Portugal at Euro 2016, France head to this summer's World Cup in Russian Federation as one of the favourites, but Pogba admits they still have more to do if they are to be successful at this year's tournament.

Despite his comments about the Paris Saint-Germain star he insisted that didn't mean he was looking to move on from Old Trafford any time soon.

Former United captain Bryan Robson, meanwhile, believes it is Pogba who needs to change, in terms of his attitude.
