In another addition to the miseries of Rohingya refugees, a massive fire in Delhi's Kalindi Kunj camp on April 15 rendered some 230 of them homeless. Though no causalty was reported, one person sustained burn injuries on his hand. "People from the adjoining areas came and tried to douse the fire with buckets of water but the tents quickly caught fire and were destroyed", Hussain, who has been living in the camp since 2012, recalled. Fire department officials said the fire began at around 3 am and two fire tenders were initially sent to the spot.
