Iowa State was third with an 847, finishing two strokes ahead of the Tide, while No. 30 OR was the fifth qualifying team from the regional with an 852.

The top five teams at the end of the tournament advance to the NCAA Championships and Augusta is five shots out of fifth place.

Napier ended the tournament only one stroke behind three players tying for 26th place and within two of claiming a top-20 finish.

Senior Matthew Perrine finished in a tie for 14th place.

Junior Bennett Baker capped another good year by tying for 33rd at 3-over, shooting a 1-over 73 in the final round. Hardee is in a tie for 16th with a 3-under par 141 (68-73), while Riley finished the day with a two-day total of 2-under 142 (72-70).

Bling led the way for the Bruins, finishing tied for eighth place at 5-under par for the week.

North Dakota State won The Summit League Men's Golf Championship for the first time in program history and established a new single-season program record for team scoring average with a 293.33 stroke average in 33 rounds this season. "It's a demanding course, so par is always a good score".

Baylor was the final Big 12 team to qualify for the tournament. Iowa State finished third to the Jayhawks, with a combined 17-under 847. Andy Stewart tied for third in 2001. Mauer carded a 4-over par 76, followed by a 3-over par 75 in the final round to pace the team in 47th with a 7-over par 151.

The Redbird men's golf squad ranked in the top-10 percent of its sport for the seventh time in program history, including six in a row. Ruiz opened with four pars before having birdies on three of his next five holes.

Texas, Duke and North Carolina State were the other three teams to advance from the region.

9 - sophomore Cooper Dossey has now played nine of 10 career NCAA Tournament rounds at par or better. The upcoming NCAA championships will be Phillips second appearance during his collegiate career.

The 60th S.C. Senior operated by the S.C. Golf Association tournament featured 89 players age 55 and older.
