Leaker Shares Renders of What Apple's 'iPhone SE2' Could Look Like

Leaker Shares Renders of What Apple's 'iPhone SE2' Could Look Like

Expect Apple to unveil its new affordable $550 iPhone with large 6.3-inch screen later this summer, if rumours prove accurate.

Analysts claim that Apple missed the mark by launching one redesigned model that was too expensive and two other new devices, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, that essentially look the same as older models.

The iPhone X's parts cost $175 more than the iPhone 8's, according to a November analysis.

Also, a recent report noted that the iPhone X made much more money compared to the combined profit of all Android smartphones in the fourth quarter. It is reported that Guo Minghao's future areas of responsibility are also likely to no longer focus on Apple, but to extend to more emerging industries.

That left a hole in the market for a breakthrough iPhone close to the previous price - and Apple is already working on filling this demand.

But the massive capital return program could be overshadowed by concerns about Apple's most important product: the iPhone.

The Cupertino company is said to drop the 3D Touch on the entry-level iPhone X2 to offset the increased cost thanks to the use of the technology as mentioned above.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will use a new "Cover Glass Sensor" technology that will relocate the iPhone's touch module to the actual glass. Earlier this year, Apple forecast sales between $60 billion and $62 billion for the period.

When the X launched a year ago, Apple paid handsomely for the new Face ID system, stainless steel casing and sharper, more efficient OLED screen technology. Now he appears to be largely moving on from reporting about Apple.

Unlike its predecessors, iPhone X's reception was mixed.

Campling, in a research note to clients that was obtained by CNBC, wrote that "the iPhone X is dead".

Rumours have also found its way to the mainstream suggesting that a "Lite" version of the iPhone X will be available. iPhone X being sold at a higher rate owing to its premium label will likely be succeeded by a more affordable version.
