Marvel plans first Muslim superhero movie starring Ms. Marvel, aka Kamala Khan

Actor Riz Ahmed has offered to write the screenplay for Miss Marvel, the comic featuring Muslim teenage superhero Kamala Khan.

Kaling, who is famous for her role in her own TV series, "The Mindy Kaling Project" replied to Ahmed's tweet when she said, "Riz!"

Ms. Marvel or Kamala Khan is a 16-year-old Pakistani American hailing from New Jersey, who tries to overcome the troubles that plague teens in America, and revolves around how life changes for the Muslim gal who is gifted with superhero powers.

Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel is a Pakistani-American teenager living in New Jersey who finds she has exceptional shape shifting abilities and decides to become a super heroine following in the footsteps of her idol, Carol Danvers who is Captain Marvel.

"Ms. Marvel.is definitely sort of in the works", Feige had said.

Brie Larson is set to play Captain Marvel in a movie to be released in 2019.

"Sure she voiced the character in a game but we need a Pakistani actress around the same age as Tom Holland". "We have plans for that once we've introduced Captain Marvel to the world".

It is rumored that Amanat may play her own creation, Ms. Marvel in the movie following worldwide praise on social media, with many applauding the Marvel franchise for representing young Muslim women and recognizing their existence within Hollywood.
