Moto Z3 Play render reveals device in Deep Indigo shades

A new yet unannounced smartphone Moto Z3 seemed to Play at a very high-quality image. The image showed the ratio of 18: 9 and frames similar to what we can find in the third generation of Moto Series Z phones.

The standard Moto Z3 will feature an even more modern look, with images showing that the display may curve slightly around the edge.

The render shows a large space beside the volume rockers which will house the fingerprint button on the right, while the power button is now shifted to the left edge. There's also the 16-pin connector which gives the device the ability to make use of the newer and older Moto Mods. The phone also has dual cameras in tow, another trendy feature which was previously only available on the high-end Moto Z Force past year. This may lead to speculations that the smartphone may not include a fingerprint sensor at all. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is nowhere to be seen, which means Motorola has ditched it this time, and hence, you will have to rely on the USB Type-C port for listening to music through earphones.

As far as Z3 Play specifications are concerned, rumors suggest that the device will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636, and with two variants, one with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, and one with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Back in February, the company also launched the 2017 flagship smartphone Moto Z2 Force in India.

The camera hasn't generally been one of the Moto Z range's strongest points, but with the recent advances in camera technology, we expect that the newest additions will pack some decent enough cameras.

The image shows the fingerprint scanner mounted on the side and once again the dual camera configuration is shown. The recent FCC filing listed the Moto Z3 Play as having a dual-camera system involving 12-megapixel (MP) and 8MP lenses, which should be able to provide decent enough performance for the mid-range device.

We don't know much about pricing or availability for these phones just yet.

It's likely that Lenovo will officially reveal the Moto Z3 Play in the near future.
