OnePlus 6 launched to universal acclaim

After running a bunch of durability tests, including a scratch, bend and even a burn test, popular YouTuber Zack from JerryRigEverything who ran the tests on the phone, came up with a verdict that the OnePlus 6 is not just durable, but that it's just as tough as its predecessors - the OnePlus 5T and the OnePlus 5.

OnePlus had a global launch event yesterday to announce the arrival of the OnePlus 6 smartphone. This happens to be the same score as the one that the OnePlus 5T achieved.

And it has an all-screen and glass back design for the first time. With a full 6.28-inch 19:9 display together with a notch, offering an 84% screen-to-body ratio, the screen is obviously the biggest highlight of this device. The new model is also touted to offer "daily water resistance", though the company hasn't revealed any IP rating to support its claim. However, what makes this screen so great are the wallpapers that OnePlus has included on the OnePlus 6. That's indicative of most smartphones today so it's in line with the competition.

The product also has a vertical double chamber, which is placed in the center of the rear panel.

It also has a fingerprint scanner and the scan function of the person which works by using the front camera.

More than 1,500 fans and media attended the global launch of the OnePlus 6 at the Copper Box Arena in London. The painful screeching noises of the razor on metal indicate that the entire frame (top, bottom, sides) is metal, as are the power and volume buttons and alert slider. "I believe this is in part due to the plastic lining between the glass and the metal frame but either way this new OnePlus flagship passes my durability test and is definitely daily driver material", the YouTuber said in the video.
